June 3, 2005, Washington, DC (DIT) ĘC Dynamic Internet Technology Inc. (DIT), a leading Internet circumvention service provider, releases a report on Internet statistics of Chinese people renouncing their memberships of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Ever since the Epoch Times published the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party (http://www.theepochtimes.com/jiuping.asp) and launched the "Quitting the Chinese Communist Party" web site (http://tuidang.dajiyuan.com/) to address the demand of Mainland Chinese quitting the Party, over 2 million people have quit the CCP as of June 2005.
In the past three months, on average, 62% of the people made their renunciation of the CCP via DynaWeb, DIT's Internet circumvention service. DIT's web data indicates that the renunciation statements online came from 29 provinces and directly governed cities in China, with hits from Beijing constituting 15% of the total. "This is only the tip of the iceberg," says Bill Xia, President of DIT. "These numbers represent the ones who are sophisticated enough to be able to use our anti-censorship technology and brave enough to take this step forward."
The report includes in detail the number of hits and downloads of the "Nine Commentaries" from various websites, including trends. A model for future development of the renunciations is also included.
The executive summary of the report can be accessed on DIT's website at: http://www.dit-inc.us/report/9p200505/9pExecutiveSummary.html
